The brief “Brint og Ptx i fremtidens energisystem” (Hydrogen and PtX in the future energy system) has been prepared by Ea Energy Analyses for Dansk Energi (lobby organisation for Danish energy companies) as background material for the report “Anbefalinger til en dansk strategi for Power-to-X”.
In the brief it is pointed out that the price for hydrogen from electrolysis is expected to fall, especially after 2030. Furthermore, the assessment is that Danish and European green hydrogen from electrolysis, produced on a basis of offshore wind, will be competitive after 2030 with both imported hydrogen from North Africa based on solar panels, and blue hydrogen produced from natural gas with carbon capture and storage.
