Karsten is skilled in energy systems analyses and modelling, integration of renewable energy, energy economics, technology analysis, and energy & climate strategies. He has many years of experience as a consultant in the energy sector covering both national projects and international projects, e.g. for India, Vietnam, South Africa, and Iceland.

Karsten has excellent interdisciplinary skills, combining energy technical insight with a deep understanding of economics, energy markets, regulation, and sustainability. He excels in communicating project outcomes clearly and effectively to various audiences and in leading complex projects to successful completion.
