Ea in new article by Klimamonitor: the government’s goal of quadrupling RE should be delayed until 2040

| On going - On going

In a new article in Klimamonitor (Danish web-media on climate issues) Ea partners Hans Henrik Lindboe and Anders Kofoed-Wiuff speaks on the government’s target of quadrupling the production of renewable energy on land. Ea recommends that the target is kept, but that the timeframe is extended to 2040 instead of 2030. According to calculations done by Ea with the electricity market model Balmorel, reaching the target in 2030 is unrealistic, as the electrification and the demand for hydrogen production have not developed as expected.
