The China Energy Transformation Program published their new report in February, which reviews China’s energy transformation over the past decade and analyses the prospects for the transformation of energy production and consumption until 2060. The report, “The China Energy Transformation Outlook”, can be found here in English and Chinese.

The China Energy Transformation Program is jointly funded by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and the government of Denmark. It is carried out by the Energy Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research (ERI) together with national and international partners.
Ea Energy Analyses is part of the China Energy Transformation Outlook (CETO) project team and provides technical support for the model analyses and thematic studies under the Danish Energy Agency (DEA). Ea has been involved in the development of the model since the predecessor of the current reports (the China Renewable Energy Outlook (CREO), 2016–2020) and has been providing technical support for the China Energy Transformation Outlook (CETO) since 2021.
