The Danish Energy Agency cooperates with governments around the world as part of the ‘Energy Country Program and Project’ on energy policies, energy savings, renewable energy and greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
As part of this, a cooperation with India focuses on options for offshore wind in India. Ea Energy Analyses has contributed with authoring an offshore wind technology catalogue, giving a qualitative and quantitative description of characteristics and trends in offshore wind power. The work was based on Danish and international experience and incorporation of the Indian context. The description and economic perspectives will feed into planning for policies on offshore wind in India.
The project was carried out in partnership with COWI and the Technical University of Denmark from January to November 2020.
