Ea Energy Analyses delivered a course on the Balmorel model, together with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), to 25 participants coming from Indonesia, Ethiopia and Egypt.
In the course, participants received an introduction to energy systems analysis and mathematical modelling, giving participants the tools needed for not only constructing and performing their own energy systems analyses in Balmorel, but also to understand and further develop the model.
In March 2020, the course was been interrupted during the first week in relation to the lockdown measures due to Covid19. The rest of the course was delivered in May 2020 through a new, tailored e-learning platform (eaedu.dk) developed for the occasion.
The course has been sponsored by the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) as part of the DFC Scholarship Programme, to deliver capacity building in the field of energy planning and modelling.
