Electrification is increasingly seen as a crucial prerequisite for achieving the Danish climate ambitions of at least 55% renewable energy in 2030 and independence of fossil fuels in 2050.
In this project, Ea Energy Analyses studied the opportunities and challenges, as well as the climate effects of a markedly increased electrification of Danish energy consumption. The results of the study were made into a practical electrification roadmap, which can inspire decision makers and stakeholders to take action.
The project was carried out for Energifonden, and ran from October 2018 to February 2020.
