On the basis of the current energy structure and the future energy goals of the municipalities of Randers, Norddjurs and Syddjurs, Ea Energy Analyses has evaluated the possibilities of increased use of biomass for energy production and the consequences of the utilisation of each of the resources with respect to the environmental, economic and social aspects of the utilisation. Mauritius - a sustainable island

The Government of Mauritius has a long-term vision of transforming Mauritius into a sustainable Island. One important element towards the achievement of this vision is to increase the country’s renewable energy usage and thereby reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Democratisation of energy production is determined to be the way forward. The report presents the context, the theoretical considerations and the proposed incentive schemes to enable electricity production via small- scale distributed generators (SSDG) i.e. wind, photovoltaic and hydro installations below 50 kW. Future Energy Systems in Europe - Okt. 2009
The report describes two ways to convert the EU's energy and transport
systems to comply with two project goals for 2030:
reducing CO2 emissions by 50 per cent and reducing oil consumption by
50 per cent. One scenario, Small-Tech, focuses on energy savings, combined heat and power production and renewable energy. In the other scenario,
Big-Tech, the most important measures are nuclear power and CCS

Sustainable Energy Scenarios for the Baltic Sea Region - Aug. 2009
The report is a study on enhanced regional energy cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region. It includes a brief overview of the energy situation in the Baltic Sea Region. Two general scenarios for the energy and transport sectors were developed that comply with the strategic energy and climate goals. The report also includes detailed scenario analyses of the electricity and district heating markets. The study was carried out in cooperation with the Baltic Development Forum. More about the project

The potential and economy of DFR compatible loads in Denmark have been analysed, control logic has been designed, power system impact has been investigated, potential business models have been evaluated and an implementation strategy has been suggested.
