Short CV for Nina Marie Holmboe

Key qualifications

Nina Holmboe specialises in analysing carbon markets – the European Union Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading Scheme as well as Joint Implementation and Clean Development Mechanisms.

 

She has extensive experience in price and risk analyses of JI and CDM projects related to buying carbon credits based on the credit market and the specific project characteristics. She is conversant with the project cycle and the approval procedures of JI and CDM projects.Furthermore, Nina has worked with market analysis of the EU market for CO2 allowances and has experience with European CO2 reduction legislation.

 

Currently Nina is the task team leader in a project for the Copenhagen Dispatch Unit. In this project Ea Energy Analysis has developed models and tools used for the daily planning of the heat supply in the greater Copenhagen area. Also Ea Energy Analyses has assisted the Copenhagen Dispatch Unit with ongoing support and analyses in connection with the heat planning.

Selected publications and presentations

• Future regulation of renewable energy in the EU (in Danish)
  Article in “Naturlig Energi” Nov - Dec 2007, issued by the Danish Wind Turbine Owners Association. The article discusses the benefits and disadvantages of various regulatory tools available for achieving the EU’s target of 20 per cent renewable energy by 2020. Focus is on green certificates and feed-in tariffs.
